West Coast Beach Volleyball Society’s Play with the Pros is back and has something for every beach volleyball enthusiast! Choose to Learn from, play with and mingle alongside some of Canada’s top Beach Volleyball athletes including 2016 Rio Olympians Sarah Pavan, Ben Saxton and 2-time London and Rio Olympian Josh Binstock!
WeCoBeVo continues its fundraising efforts to support the creation of a training centre HUB for Western Canadian athletes to learn, train and excel. We want to see more geographical balance of National Team representation from across Canada and the HUB will be our contribution.

$400 per team (register 3 or 4 players*)
Each team will play with a Pro every round of pool play and are guaranteed to play at least 8 matches and at least once with either Ben Saxton or APRIL ROSS! Registration fees also include delicious food, drink tickets (# TBD based on sponsorship), souvenir beach towel and access to the Silent Auction.

During and after pool play, athletes will have a chance to peruse the Silent Auction table where great steals on merchandise and services are to be had. Last year over $6,000 was raised and happy people walked away with merchandise and services including RYU, Helly Hansen, Hershel, Icebreaker, Navas Lab, The Physio Room, MVMTLAB, Patagonia, Rain Hair Salon, a weekend in Naramta and MORE!!

Ben Saxton
Ben Saxton, a 2016 Rio Olympian, was born and raised in Calgary, AB, but now resides in Vancouver, BC when not training in California and playing on the FIVB World Tour. Volleyball has been a prominent part of his whole life. He has experienced every stage of the development of a successful beach volleyball player and program. As a member of Canadian National Beach Volleyball Team since 2008, he saw the team at that time not qualify a single Beach Volleyball team to the 2008 London Olympics. But, he also got to be a part of the team Canada qualified the maximum of 4 teams to the 2016 Rio Olympics. Ben has a silver and 2 bronze medals on the FIVB World Tour and more recently took 5th at both the 2017 World Championships and 2017 World Tour Finals.

April Ross
April Ross, two-time beach volleyball Olympic medalist, was born and raised in Orange County, California. She earned bronze with Kerri Walsh Jennings at 2016 Olympic Games; silver with Jennifer Kessy at 2012 Olympic Games. She took up volleyball at the age of 13, and competed in indoor volleyball. Ross earned a volleyball scholarship to the prestigious and world-renown University of Southern California (USC) where she enrolled in 2000. The team won the NCAA National Championship in 2003. From 2007-13 with Jennifer Kessy, won 10 gold on the FIVB World Tour; duo won silver at the 2012 Olympic Games and played their last match together on the World Tour in June of 2013.
